Proper water management is one of the most important aspects to fully exploit all the possibilities offered by our garden.
In fact, in addition to being the first source of nourishment and life of plants, it is a decisive factor in improving the maintenance, livability and design of our outdoor spaces.

Automatic irrigation system

Regardless of the size of our garden, manually wetting the ground or the pots, in many cases is a rather challenging activity, whether we use a watering can, or the classic hose connected to a tap.

For example, some species require water at certain times of the day; in addition, in the warmer periods of the year, it may be necessary to repeat the watering several times.

One solution to consider, even in smaller gardens, is to install an automatic irrigation system.

Depending on the characteristics and physiognomy of the spaces, we will choose an external or underground system, equipped with a control unit and static or retractable sprinklers.

Static sprinklers are suitable for small gardens, and produce a fixed jet of water, distributed at 360 degrees.

Retractable sprinklers only come out of the ground when the system is active and usually have a longer range. For this, they are the best choice for larger terrains.

Artificial pond

The creation of an artificial pond with aquatic plants and small fish, is an original and evocative solution, suitable for any occasion.

In fact, in the evening, the reflection of the lights on the surface combined with the roaring of water, is an ornamental element of great impact for moments of relaxation with friends and family.

Also during the day, the minnows swimming in the pond will be an attraction for our children and their friends.

In order to achieve this small ecosystem correctly, we need to choose a half-light area, to avoid the proliferation of algae, and provide an adequate water exchange system.

Next, it is advisable to draw a shape with soft lines for a better laying of the waterproof cloth.

In this way, in addition to significantly reducing the presence of folds and overlaps, we will obtain a much more natural aesthetic effect.

Outdoor shower

Having a shower in the garden is a valuable opportunity in different circumstances, and is absolutely essential if there is a swimming pool.

In fact, taking a shower before entering the tub, serves to keep the water clean longer and, after the bath, helps to get rid of chlorine residue from the body and hair.

Also, especially during the summer season, taking a quick shower in the garden allows you to wash away the salt coming back from the sea, keeping in order the master bathroom.

Or, if we have the habit of sunbathing in the garden, refreshing ourselves with a shower in the garden offers an effective and immediate relief.

To properly install a shower in the garden you just need to buy an outdoor kit and connect to the main water system and the white water drain.

Fountain

Installing a fountain means equipping our garden with one of the most characteristic and decisive elements for the overall design of our outdoor space.

In fact, a fountain of the right and well positioned material can be considered an intelligent ornamental element, because it plays a double function: on the one hand it decorates the environment, and on the other it represents a water supply point of absolute practicality and utility.

Currently, the garden fountains are made with different shapes and materials, and you can choose the model that best suits the style and aesthetic needs and maintenance.

For example, the traditional stone fountains have an imposing appearance and withstand the weather. At the same time, they have a rather high cost of purchase and installation and, given the roughness of the surface, are quite difficult to clean.

The polyethylene fountains, cheaper, lighter and easy to maintain, are available in various shapes and colors and can be easily repositioned or disassembled and kept safe during periods of non-use.
